About the Health Check Service

The Health Check service is a Windows service that gathers data from different server computers in the network and uses the information to monitor the health of the system. You must create a Health Check service using Database Administrator and ensure that it runs under the domain account. The domain account under which the service runs must have administrator permissions on all computers that host the components being monitored by the Health Check service. These computers include those on which the Application Server, campaign dispatcher, Main database, services, mail service, replication, threader and web server components are installed.

Health Check job: The Health Check job is a Microsoft SQL job that updates Health Check data at intervals specified by the user. By default, this job runs every five minutes. To optimize performance, it is recommended that you do not reduce this interval.
