Setting the Mail Format and Message Size
Configuring the Email Format
The Send Object Information as option enables you to set the format of the email that is sent out of the system. When a user chooses to send an email, that email is sent in HTML or Plain text format based on the option you select here.
To Set the Email Format
1. From the Navigation pane, select the <System> node (the node at the top of the left pane).
2. Click Options in the Results pane. The System Option page is displayed.
3. In the Send Object information as area, select HTML file to send the information as an attachment in HTML format.

Select Plain text file to send the information as an attachment in plain text format.
4. Click Save to save the settings.
Configuring the Message Size
You can set the maximum size of all email messages sent from CampusNexus CRM. When the size of an outgoing email message is configured, a user cannot send email messages that exceed the predefined size limit. The maximum size of email messages also includes the size of the attachment in the messages.
To Set the Message Size
1. From the Navigation pane, select the <System> node (the node at the top of the left pane).
2. Click Options in the Results pane. The System Option page is displayed.
3. In the Do not send email messages greater than “n” KB field, type or select the limit on the size of each email message that can be sent. The default size is 1024 KB.
4. Click Save.

If the maximum limit configured is higher than the limit specified for your institution, email messages are returned as undelivered.
