SIS User Tabs and Properties

SIS User is a Shared Reference object. An SIS user item indicates a user in the SIS. SIS User items are typically created in Desktop Client using the Higher Education Foundation iServices or through an Import operation. These SIS User items are available in the Properties tab of a Team and the Map SIS User to User page in Business Administrator.

The SIS User object item contains the following tabs:

Properties Tab

This tab contains system and custom properties created for the SIS User object. The following table describes these properties:

SIS User ID	A unique identifier for SIS User.		No	No
Name *	The name of the SIS User.			No
Owner	The owner of the SIS User item. Typically, in an environment where CRM is integrated with an SIS, the value of this field is None.			No
Created On	The date and time when the SIS User record was created.		No	No
Last Updated	The date and time when the SIS User record was last updated.		No	No
Created By	The name of the User who created the SIS User item. This is a hidden Property and is not displayed in Desktop Client. Typically, in an environment where CRM is integrated with an SIS, the name of the User in the SIS who created the SIS User item is displayed in this field.			No
External SIS ID	A unique identifier for the SIS User in the SIS.		No	No
Active	This Property can have one of the following values: Yes: Indicates that the SIS User item is currently used. An SIS User can be set as a Team’s default SIS User only if the value of this Property is set to Yes. No: Indicates that the SIS User item is not used.		No	No
Staff code	A unique code for the SIS User.		No	No
Campus	The campus to which the SIS User belongs. If the SIS User belongs to multiple campuses, they are displayed as comma-separated values. For example, Austin, Dallas.		No	No
E-mail	The email address of the SIS User.		No	No
SIS owner	Displays values of the Name and Staff code Properties in the following format: <Name>-<Staff code> For example, John-11. This format is used to display the value of the SIS owner Property in Objects that share a Relationship with the SIS User Object. Note: This is a read-only Property.		No	No
Mapped Talisma User	Indicates the User who is mapped with the SIS User. This mapping is also reflected in the Map SIS User to the User page in Business Administrator.			No
Admissions representative	This Property can have one of the following values: Yes: Indicates that the SIS User item is an admissions representative. No: Indicates that the SIS User item is not an admissions representative. This is the default value. The value in this Property is typically updated through Higher Education iService.		No	No

Share Tab

This tab lists Teams in which the User has the Manage SIS User Permission. The Teams with which the SIS User item is shared are selected in this tab. This selection can be modified.

History Tab

This tab lists the actions performed on the SIS User item.

Note

When CampusNexus CRM is installed afresh, audit is disabled for all events and Properties. Hence, audit records will not be displayed in the History tab. For more information about enabling or disabling audit, see About Audit Configuration and Installation Manager Help.

Categories Tab

This tab lists the Categories created for the SIS User object. From this tab, you can categorize the SIS User by selecting one or more Categories.

Leads Tab

This tab lists the Leads associated with the SIS User. From this tab, you can view details of a selected Lead in the Lead window.

Contacts Tab

This tab lists the Contacts associated with the SIS User. From this tab, you can view details of a selected Contact in the Contact window.

Enrollments Tab

This tab lists the Enrollments associated with the SIS User. From this tab, you can view details of a selected Enrollment in the Enrollment window.

Addresses Tab

This tab displays the list of Addresses associated with the SIS User. From this tab, you can view details of a selected Address in the Address window.

Activities Tab

This tab presents a unified view of Interactions associated with the SIS User. When you double-click an Activity, the child Interaction item opens in its window.

Interactions Tab

This tab lists Interactions associated with the SIS User.

Assignment Logs Tab

This tab displays Assignment Log items that are created when the SIS User is set as the SIS owner of an object item.

Previous Assignment Logs Tab

This tab displays Assignment Log items that are created when an Object item’s SIS owner is changed to another SIS User.

Academic Advisor Enrollments Tab

This tab lists Enrollments for which the SIS User is the academic advisor.

SIS Student DSO/RO - Leads

This tab lists Leads for which the SIS User is the Designated School Official (DSO) or Responsible Officer (RO). From this tab, you can view details of a selected Lead in the Lead window.

SIS International Advisor - Leads

This tab lists Leads for which the SIS User is the international Advisor. From this tab, you can view details of a selected Lead in the Lead window.

SIS Student DSO/RO - Contacts

This tab lists Contacts for which the SIS User is the Designated School Official (DSO) or Responsible Officer (RO). From this tab, you can view details of a selected Contact in the Contact window.

SIS International Advisor - Contacts

This tab lists Contacts for which the SIS User is the international Advisor. From this tab, you can view details of a selected Contact in the Contact window.

Applications Tab

This tab lists Applications associated with the SIS User.

Important

It is recommended that you do not delete or archive SIS User items.
