Campaign Tabs and Properties

The tables in this topic describe the Properties available in the various tabs of the Campaign Object.

The Campaign Object contains the following tabs:

•   Properties Tab

•   Categories Tab

•   Workflow Tab

•   Targets Tab

•   History Tab

•   Mailers Tab

•   Personal Tab

The text "TBA" in the last column of the table refers to Talisma Business Administrator.

Properties Tab

The Properties tab contains system Properties. It also contains custom Properties created for the Campaign Object. Values for these Properties are set in Talisma Client.

Team *

The name of the Team to which the Campaign belongs.

Cannot be edited or deleted.

Campaign ID

A unique identifier for the Campaign. This is generated by Talisma when a Campaign is saved.

Cannot be edited or deleted.

Campaign name *

A unique name of the Campaign. For example, MyCampaign. This is a free-text field. Maximum number of characters: 255.

Cannot be edited or deleted.

Variable cost

Cost associated with the Campaign. The cost is calculated as the sum of all the Target costs across steps in the Campaign. For example, there are 25 Targets in a Campaign which has two Steps. The cost for a Target in Step 1 is $2 and the cost for a Target in Step 2 is $3. The Cost associated with the Campaign will be the sum of the cost in Step 1 and Step 2: 2 X

25 + 3 X 25 = $125.

ROI

ROI, or Return on Investment is computed as (Campaign Revenue - Campaign Cost)/(Campaign Cost) x 100%, where Campaign Revenue is the value of the Orders generated from the Campaign. Click to view the updated value of this Property.

 

Owner

The Talisma User who is responsible for running the Campaign.

Cannot be edited or deleted.

Date created

The date on which the Campaign was created.

Cannot be edited or deleted.

Type - Newsletter

This Property indicates whether the Campaign is a Newsletter Campaign. It is set to True if the Campaign is a Newsletter Campaign. Otherwise, it is set to False. The value for this Property is automatically set when the Campaign is created. This value cannot be modified.

Fixed cost

The fixed cost of the Campaign, regardless of the count of Targets who progress through the Campaign.

Cannot be edited or deleted.

Total cost

The sum of values in the Fixed cost, and Variable cost fields.

Cannot be edited or deleted.

Is primary Campaign

Indicates whether the Campaign is a primary Campaign for an Event.

Cannot be edited or deleted.

Event name

The name of the Event associated with the Campaign.

Note

This Property is displayed only if the Talisma Event Management feature has been installed on Talisma Server.

Cannot be edited or deleted.

Base Object

The Talisma Object that is set as the base Object of the Campaign. Items of the base Object will progress through the Campaign as Targets.

Cannot be edited or deleted.

Categories Tab

This tab displays all Categories created for the Campaign Object. From this tab, you can categorize the Campaign by selecting one or more Categories.

Workflow Tab

This tab displays the Workflow for the Campaign. The Workflow is a visual representation of the sequence of Nodes in a Campaign.

Targets Tab

A Target is a Contact at whom a Campaign is directed. This tab displays the Targets in the Campaign. The Properties of the Target Object are displayed as column headers in this tab. For information about the Properties displayed in this tab, see Target Tabs and Properties.

History Tab

This tab lists the actions performed on the Campaign. For example, if a Campaign is categorized, this action is recorded as an event in the history of the Campaign. To specify the events to be displayed in this tab, select Options from the Tools menu. In the Options dialog box, set the required Campaign Event options from the Event tab.

Note 

When Talisma is installed afresh, audit is disabled for all events and Properties. Hence, audit records will not be displayed in the History tab. For more information about enabling or disabling audit, see Business Administrator Help and Installation Manager Help.

Mailers Tab

Mailers are electronic letters that can be sent as part of a Campaign. This tab lists the Mailers used in the Campaign. Clicking a Template ID link displays the Mailer in the Mailer/SMS Template window.

Personal Tab

Lists Properties created for the Personal tab in Talisma Business Administrator. The tab is visible in Talisma Client only for the User who created these Properties. Note that the Personal tab is visible for the User only if the User has created at least one Property for the tab.

Columns Displayed in a Related Object Tab

Target is a related Object for the Campaign Object. The Targets tab displays Properties as column headers. You can customize the columns that are displayed in these tabs.
