Excluding a User from Automated Lead Distribution

Users to whom Leads are assigned based on weighted round robin (WRR) logic can be suspended from the Lead Distribution cycle. The user can be suspended in one of the following ways:

•   By the Business Administrator from Business Administrator.

•   By another user in Desktop Client.

You can suspend a User from the weighted round robin Lead distribution cycle. When the User is suspended, Leads are no longer assigned to the User.

To Suspend a User from Weighted Round Robin Lead Distribution

1.  Select the Users node in the Navigation pane. The users list is displayed in the Results pane.

2.  Select the required user.

a.  Click Properties. The Properties tab is displayed.

b.  In the Lead distribution status list, select Suspended.

- OR -

Click the Set Properties link. The Show Users for page is displayed.

a.  Select the check-box adjacent to the User(s) you want to suspend.

b.  Click Properties. The Properties tab is displayed.

c.  In the Lead distribution status list, select Suspended.

3.  Click OK.

The selected users are suspended from Lead assignment in all teams to which the users have access.

Note 

•   To activate a suspended User, select Active in the Lead distribution status list.

•   As a result of performing the described steps, the value displayed in the Lead distribution status property is also updated in the Lead distribution status column of the Manage User Status dialog box in Desktop Client.
