The Tile and Grid Buttons
A saved calendar event record is displayed as a tile in the Calendar Events tab. The Calendar Events tab includes the Tile and Grid buttons that enable you to toggle how you want to view the record.
The Tile Button
The tile includes the following information:
• The name of the calendar event
• Location
• The start date and time
• The end date and time
• The time zone of the calendar event
• The date of the calendar event
The tile button includes the Active and Historical tabs:
Time values in the tile view are displayed in a 12 or 24 hour format. They are inherited from the date-time format that is set on the computer where Web Client is installed.
• The Active Tab
Calendar event tiles are displayed in the Active tab if the End Date of the event is the current date or a future date. The records are displayed in ascending order based on the Start Date Property. When you click a tile, the Edit Calendar Event dialog box is displayed.
• The Historical Tab
Calendar event tiles are displayed in the Historical tab if the End Date of the event has lapsed. Calendar event records are displayed from left to right based on their ID. When you click a tile, the View Calendar Event dialog box is displayed.
The Grid View
All calendar event records, active and historical, are displayed and sorted in ascending order based on the ID of the calendar event.
Note
• When you click the Tile button, a maximum of six calendar event tiles are displayed on each page. Use the page control buttons at the bottom to navigate through different pages. For information about changing the default count of tiles to a different value, contact your administrator.
• Tiles in the Active tab are bright blue when compared with tiles in the Historical tab.
