To Save a Report as a Microsoft Excel File

1.  In any Workspace, select Analytics from the GoTo menu. The Talisma Analytics Workspace is displayed.

2.  In the My Reports pane, expand the Favorites folder if the report has been added to it.

Expand the folder or sub-folder within the My Folders folder in which the report is stored.

3.  Select the report you want to save as a Microsoft Excel file.

4.  From the File menu, select Save as Excel File. The Save as dialog box is displayed. By default, the Save as type field displays the file type to save as Microsoft Excel Workbook.

5.  In the Save in field, select the folder in which you want to save the file.

6.  In the File name field, type the name with which you want to save the file.

7.  Click Save.

Note 

•   When scheduling a report, you can specify that it should be saved as a Microsoft Excel file.  You can choose to overwrite the file every time the report runs. If you choose not to overwrite the file, the report is saved as a new file every time the schedule runs.

•   Using the Create Copy option in the File menu, you can create a copy of the report. When creating a copy, you can change the report criteria.

 

Tip  

To save a report as an HTML file, schedule the report, and select Save as HTML in the Options page of the Schedule Wizard.
