Deleting a Report
Permissions Required
Manage Analytics - Creating, editing and deleting Cross Tab and Drill Down reports and granting access to other Users while creating or editing Cross Tab or Drill Down reports.
- OR -
Manage SQL / Microsoft Excel Report - Creating, editing and deleting SQL and Microsoft Excel reports.
To Delete a Report using the Report Menu
1. In any Workspace, select Analytics from the GoTo menu. The Talisma Analytics Workspace is displayed.
2. In the My Reports pane, expand the folder or sub-folder in which the report is stored.
3. Select the report you want to delete.
4. From the Report menu, select Delete.

From the shortcut menu, select Delete.
- OR -
Press the DELETE key.
5. Click Yes to confirm the delete operation. The report is deleted from the Talisma Main Database.
To Delete a Report using the Reports Manager
1. In any Workspace, select Analytics from the GoTo menu. The Analytics Workspace is displayed.
2. From the GoTo menu, select Reports Manager. The Report Manager dialog box is displayed.
3. From the Select Report(s) list, select the reports you want to delete. To select consecutive reports, click the first report, hold the SHIFT key down, and click the last report. For a random selection, click the first report, hold the CTRL key down, and click the other reports.
4. Click Delete.

From the shortcut menu, select Delete.

Press the DELETE key.
The report is deleted from Talisma Main Database.
Note • If you delete a shared report, Users with access to the report will no longer be able to view it. • You cannot delete a report for which you do not have Permission. • A report cannot be deleted if it is being run or edited by another User. • A report that has also been added to the Favorites folder, when deleted from the folder or sub-folder where it is stored, will also be removed from the Favorites folder. • Reports based on custom Objects will be automatically deleted if the custom Object is deleted from Talisma Business Administrator. |
