Goal Tabs and Properties

A Goal item provides details of the goal item created by the academic advisor for purposes of student retention.

The Goal object window contains the following tabs:

•   Properties

•   History

•   Comments

Properties Tab

This tab contains system and custom Properties created for the Document Status object. The following table describes these properties:

Goal Name*

The Goal item name.

The owner of the item.

Typically, when CampusNexus CRM is integrated with an SIS, the value of this field is None.

The date and time when the Goal record was created.

The date and time when the Goal record was last updated.

Goal Type

Displays the type or category of goal. A goal can be any of the following types:

•   Personal

•   Educational

•   Social

Start Date

The starting date for the goal period.

Proposed Completion Date

The date when the goal is proposed to be achieved.

Actual Completion Date

The actual date when the goal is achieved.

Status

Indicates the goal status. A goal can have any of the following statuses:

•   To Do

•   In Progress

•   Completed

•   Removed

Percentage Complete

Indicates the percentage of goal completion.

Link to Contact

Displays the contact that is associated with the goal item.

History Tab

This tab lists the actions performed on the Goal item. To specify the events to be displayed in this tab, select Options from the Tools menu. In the Options dialog box, set the required Document Status event options from the Events tab.

Comment Tab

The Comments tab enables you to specify additional information about a goal. The information can be used for reference purposes, or to convey information about the goal to another user within your institution.
