Start the Service Manager

After successful installation and configuration of the Connector Service Manager, you need to start this application and have it running as a background process.

As the Connector Service Manager is installed as a Windows service, it must log on and run under an account to access resources. As a result, you need to ensure that this service logs on and runs under an account that has administrative level privileges.

1. Execute services.msc at the command prompt to open Windows Services.

2. Right-click the CampusVue Connector Windows Service to which you want to assign the account with administrative level privileges.

   The Windows Service Properties dialog is displayed.

   1. Click the Log On tab.

   2. Choose the This account radio button under Log on as area.

   3. Click Browse and specify a user account with administrative level privileges in the Select User dialog box.

   4. Click OK.

3. Right-click the service and click Start.
