Configure Queue Manager to Use SSL

Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) is a cryptographic protocol that provides security and data integrity for communications over networks such as the Internet.

You can configure the Connector Queue Manager to use SSL technology for Internet Information Services (IIS). Utilizing this technology will secure the Service Manager communications between the Connector, CampusNexus CRM through iServices and Anthology Student through CampusLink APIs.

1. Enable SSL on the CampusNexus CRM iServices web server.

2. Enable SSL on the CampusLink API web server.

3. Edit all of the URL Connection Strings in the QueueManagerConfiguration.config file and the Web.config file to utilize the correct port number and secure http (https).

4. Restart the Queue Manager, iServices, and CampusLink API websites.

5. Restart the Connector Service Manager Windows Service.
