Tasks
You can use the Tasks page to display a list of Current and Historical tasks related to a student. The list contains the tasks assigned to you and tasks that you have permission to access (if policies are enabled). You can use the list to:
- Add and edit tasks
- Complete and close tasks
Tasks with task templates configured with an Event Type of Incident are selected when the incident is added on the Incidents page ( Select the Processes tile > locate Contact Manager > select Incidents.). You can only view tasks with task templates configured with an Event Type of Incident. You can also display the details for the incident where the task was created. They also have a status of Task Template (Closed).
The table shows all of the Event Types and indicates whether:
- You can create the task
- The tasks can only be automated and scheduled by Anthology Student
- The task can be both created and automated
Tasks automated and scheduled by Anthology Student appear in the list after Anthology Student adds them so that you can assign them. If needed, you can then edit and close them.

Columns
List of tasks under the Current tab and the Historical tab. Both tabs display the same task list.
Version 26.1 introduces an enhancement that improves the usability of the Task form by allowing the Note field to dynamically expand to a reasonable limit. After the limit, vertical scrolling gets enabled for additional content. Now, the Note field starts with a default height equivalent to 2 lines of text.
Using the Note Field in the Task Form:
-
As you start typing, the Note field expands automatically, up to a maximum of 20 lines.
-
Once the 20-line limit is reached, a vertical scrollbar appears.
-
You can use the scrollbar to continue entering and reviewing longer notes.
The Note field now spans the full width of the form for better readability.
Limitations
You cannot sort using these columns.
