National Do Not Call

You can use the National Do Not Call page to:

  • Look up a phone number for a student to determine whether they can be called
  • Create a batch that import the files from Federal Trade Commission (FTC) National Do Not Call (DNC) Registry
  • Update the records for students in the Anthology Student database using the data from the files
  • Review the import and update batches

Use the Lookup tab to look up a phone number to determine whether it can be called. Once you have specified the phone number, Anthology Student displays a message indicating whether the person can be contacted. For example, you can look up phone numbers for referrals for new students from existing students to determine if those phone numbers can be called.

Use the Import tab to import a file that contains the DNC Registry. You can import a complete or change file for a national, state, or area code list. If you import a complete file for the area code or state list, you can append the data. In all other cases, Anthology Student imports all the data in the file. If the file being imported is large, it can take a long time to process the batch. After importing, you must use the Update tab to update the data in the Anthology Student database.

Use the Update tab to update the Anthology Student database after you have imported the DNC Registry file.

Use the History tab to review the status, review the results of specific batches, and manage the import and update batches. For example, you can check if the file was imported before you generate the batch for the update.

  • Common - Processes - View authorization

Depending on your task, you must also have:
