Lesson Types
You can use the Lesson Types page to configure the types of lessons a student must accomplish to complete a class section. For example, you can configure lessons for exams, presentations, and reports. Lessons are also displayed in the Portal.
Since the lessons are defined at the class section level, different sections of the same course may have different lesson plans. Each lesson can account for a certain percentage of the tasks required to complete the course.
You select the lesson type when you add lessons for class sections on the Lesson Setup tab (Select the Processes tile > expand Academic Records > select Gradebook.).
Course fees can only be charged for lessons with lesson types that are system-defined. Course fees cannot be charged for lesson types that you add.
