System Administrators

This help section is designed for:

  • System Administrators responsible installing Anthology Student and maintaining the security

  • System Administrators or Department or Office Managers who manage permission for staff members and staff groups

  • System Administrators, Department or Office Managers, or other personnel familiar with SQL Server and SSRS who need to create custom reports

This section contains information about the features in Anthology Student that System Administrators and other technical professionals can use to perform system administration and other technical tasks such as:

  • Adding staff members to Anthology Student

  • Starting Anthology Student to verify the installation and configuration

  • Enabling, creating, and selecting task and document policies for staff members

For example, from the Processes tile in Anthology Student you can expand System Administration and use the:

  • Background Processes option to add and manage scheduled jobs

  • Job History option to view information about all the jobs that have executed

The content also contains information about tasks you complete outside of the Anthology Student interface. For example:

  • Completing the steps to integrate Anthology Student with Hyland's Perceptive Content

  • Creating custom reports and documents using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)

When to Use This Help Section

Before you can use this help, you must have used ClickOnce or Installation Manager to complete all the steps required to install the Security Console.

You must also have configured the SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) report server.
