Configure Anthology Student for Integration with Hyland's Perceptive Content

You can use the information on this page to configure the settings in Anthology Student for the integration between Anthology Student and Hyland's Perceptive Content.

Prerequisites

You must have:

  • To manage a document, Contact Manager - Configuration - Manage authorization

  • To add or edit settings for the Contact Manager and Admissions modules, System - Settings - Campuses - Manage authorization

  • To edit advanced settings of document providers, System - Settings - Advanced Feature – Manage authorization

Configure Documents in Anthology Student

The documents in Anthology Student must be configured with the correct document type.

  1. Select the Configuration tile > expand Contact Manager > select Documents.

  2. Verify that the documents which will be stored in Perceptive Content are configured in Anthology Student with Receive/Incoming selected for Document TypeClosed The type of document submitted to the institution. If you are configuring a document and you want to manage the attachments using Perceptive Content, you must select Receive/Incoming..

Enable and Configure Values Required to Integrate

You must specify the values required to integrate Hyland's Perceptive Content with Anthology Student in Contact Manager & Admissions page (Select the Settings tile > expand System > select Campuses > select the name of an existing campus or select the New button, specify the required information, and save the campus > select the Contact Manager & Admissions tile.).

  1. In Document Integration, select the value for Integrate with Content Management SoftwareClosed Select Yes to specify that you want to integrate Anthology Student with external content management software (such as Hyland®'s Perceptive Content). Otherwise, select No..

  2. If you selected Yes for Document Integration, also complete the additional values that Anthology Student displays.

    Capture ProfileClosed The capture profile that you configured in Perceptive Content that defines the capture files in Perceptive Content.

    Custom FolderClosed The name of the custom folder used to store documents for the campus in Perceptive Content.

    URLClosed The URL for the external content management software (such as the Perceptive Experience URL).

Disable Advanced Feature Value

You must select No for Allow Additional Document Management ProvidersClosed Select Yes to enable additional integrated document management providers. If you enable this feature, the Document Integration settings for Campuses in the Contact Manager & Admissions tiles are disabled. Select No if you only want to use the options in document integration. on the Advanced Features page. (Select the Settings tile > expand System > select Advanced Features.)

Upload an Attachment in Anthology Student

When you upload student documents in Hyland's Perceptive Content, these documents are accessible in Anthology Student.

  • Documents list (Select the Students tile > select the name in the Students list > expand Contact Manager > select the Documents tile.). For more information, refer to Documents.

  • Housing Lease page (Select the Students tile > select the name in the Students list > expand Student Services > select the Housing Leases tile > select the Documents tab.) For more information, refer to Housing Leases - Documents Tab.
