Filter Data in the View
You can use conditions in the query to filter the data in the view. For example, you can choose to include only pending interviews. Conditions are similar to the selections you make when you use the Report Selection: dialog from the Reports menu in Anthology Student.
The data in views and lists is automatically filtered so that the data displayed is for the campuses (CampusIds) that are associated with your user ID. For example, if your user ID is associated with three campuses, the views and lists will contain data for those three campuses.
Access Method
Select the Views tile > Explore Views tile > select a view in the Views Explorer window.
Procedure to Filter Data

If the query is not already displayed, select the Show Query button.

In the Object list, select the object.

In the Available Properties list, select the check the boxes for the appropriate properties.

Select the
icon at the lower left. The type of data that you selected is displayed in the Conditions box. If the property was not already selected for the view, it is also added to Selected Properties box.

Complete the Conditions box.
Column Action to Take And/Or
If you are filtering on more than one and you want to specify that:
- All of the above conditions are true, select And.
- Any condition is true, select Or.
Operator
The operators are appropriate for the property selected. Select the operator.
Value
Specify, or in some cases, select the value for the operator.
- For some operators, Value is not displayed.
- Strings with alphabetic characters are not case sensitive.
If you are filtering on more than one and you want all of the conditions to be met before the next condition, select the check boxes for the conditions you want in the group and select the Group Conditions icon (
). An icon is displayed to indicate the group.

Repeat steps 1-4 until you have added all the filters.

Select the Save button on the toolbar.
Details for Less Common Operators
The table provides descriptions for some less common operators. For example, equals is common while in (; separated) is not.

Additional Tasks for Conditions

You cannot filter or sort properties that contain free-form text (such as notes). For example, you cannot filter or sort on:
