Set Load Bank Expiration in MonthsClosed When the Advanced Feature flag Enable Load Banking is set to Yes, staff members can specify and save a Load Bank Expiration in Months value. The valid values for this setting are 1 to 480 months (40 years). When a load is added for a term, the system sets the expiration date to the day of the month when the calculated period expires. For example, if the expiration period is set to 60 months and a load is banked on January 12, 2020, the banked load will expire on January 12, 2025. At this time, the load will be paid out at the rate it was earned if it has not been used. When the expiration value is changed, the system checks if there are any loads currently in the bank for faculty members. If there are loads in the bank, the following message appears: "You may have loads banked for some faculty members that will immediately expire if this change is made. These loads will automatically expire if you continue. Do you wish to continue?" If you select Yes, a background job will evaluate the banked loads and expire loads that are now outside the expiration date. The system marks expired loads as expired. You can pay out the load but cannot create assignments from the banked loads. If you select No, no change will be saved to the setting, the job will not run, and no expiration on loads will be enacted.
