Campus-Based COD
Identifier Changes Regenerated
We've enhanced the Campus-Based COD export process to include a regeneration feature for identifier changes. This feature allows you to regenerate both standard export records and identifier change records for calendar year 2023. Both standard export records and identifier change records can be regenerated in a single batch.
The regenerate functionality remains consistent with existing system capabilities. There are no changes to the location, format, or data retention process.

Import Name and Export Name Columns Populated in the Legacy Interface
The export and import name columns are populated with data when files are created in the legacy application. The hyperlinks are visible and can be clicked. Legacy Import does not populate a name. A name similar to “Web Export" for "Web Import" is created and displayed in the user interface.

COD
Middle Name Valid Values Updated
For the 2024-25 award year, starting with the 5.0b schema, the middle name field in the COD export process has been updated to support uppercase letters, lowercase letters, spaces, apostrophes, periods, and dashes. The export includes only the first letter of the middle name and no numeric values and special characters are allowed. If the middle name contains invalid characters and exceeds 35 characters, the system generates the existing "Invalid middle name" validation. If a middle name is not provided, the field will be excluded from the export file. These changes apply to all export types, including origination, disbursement, adjustments, origination changes, identifier changes, and exports by disbursement batches.

Disbursement Eligibility
ELIGBLTY0228 No Longer Needed
With the release of Regulatory US 25.0.0, the ELIGBLTY0228 exception is no longer needed to validate the Estimated Award Year Cost of Attendance (COA) related to the Pell Grant amount. Automated Awarding Disbursement Eligibility logic for the Pell COA field will be suppressed. Existing ELIGBLTY0228 entries will be automatically cleared, allowing the export of disbursements unless other eligibility exceptions remain.
