Student Pace Evaluation

You can use the Student Pace Evaluation (SPE) page to evaluate the student's academic progress and project the dates that need to be extended due to lack of academic progress. Depending on how SPE is configured for the academic calendar selected for the program version, SPE can project and change the following dates.

  • Academic years
  • Disbursements for loans (along with their amounts and status)
  • Disbursements for Title IV grants (along with their amounts and status)
  • Externship
  • Graduation
  • Housing lease
  • Loan period BBAY
  • Loan payment periods
  • Payment periods

For example, you can use the SPE process to:

  • Identify ineligible students to progress to the next payment period or academic year due to a lack of academic progress

  • Extend the dates for students when they are ineligible to progress to the next payment period

  • Identify students who need exit interviews for financial aid

  • Prepare students for externships and career searches
