SEVIS Review

You can use the SEVIS Review page to create and queue a batch to have the PDSO/RO (Designated School Official or Responsible Officer) review the SEVIS data.

You can :

  • Review the SEVIS data to verify compliance with SEVIS regulations
  • Manage International Students SEVIS record, so that international students can continue to attend school
  • Approve or reject the action that is based on PDSO review

The PDSO is a member of the school administration whose compensation does not come from commissions for recruitment of foreign students. The PDSO is responsible for updating SEVIS to reflect the addition or deletion of all designated officials (DSO) on his or her associated campus. The PDSO also serves as the point of contact on any issues that relate to the school's compliance with customs regulations as well as any system alerts generated by SEVIS.

For batches that you created to review the SEVIS data, you can use the History tab to review the status of all the batches, review the results for specific batches, and manage the batches.
