Make Updates and Take Action for Students Accepted by SEVIS

For international students who have been exported and accepted by the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS), you can use the International page to:

  • Make changes to the information. For example, you can change their US address when they move. If appropriate, Anthology Student also updates the information on their Student Profile.

  • Communicate other changes to SEVIS using actions you select in the Form Purpose field. For example, you will be able to add employment information and notify SEVIS when their program is complete.

If your institution has configured the campus to also require review by the Designated School Officials (DSOs) or Responsible Officers (ROs), the information must be reviewed and accepted or rejected before they are sent to SEVIS in the next SEVIS transmission.

When the status is R (Ready to be transmitted), the information will be sent to SEVIS in the next SEVIS transmission.

For information about the values to specify for the fields on the dialogs, refer to the User Manual for School Users of the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) at https://www.ice.gov/sevis.
