Automated Awarding Noel Levitz

The Noel Levitz form is a source for institutions to create a systematic structure for student assessment based on key elements as determined by a college during a student’s education. By identifying which undergraduates have a higher chance for success earlier in their education, a school can implement more effective and efficient awarding strategies that will help student retention.

For the 2024-25 and future award years, the Noel Levitz grid will be updated to read "SAI" instead of "Need". Automated Awarding will use the SAI value to determine which row to cross-reference the school-defined field's high/low values to award the "% Need met with gift aid” of the given cell. Users can configure the Automated Awarding Noel Levitz using negative and positive values which will be validated against the SAI number and not the Unmet Need number.

The system will also remove the bottom section for "No Need. Merit Only" when the award year of 2024-25 or higher is configured or if the award year is empty.
