Course Prefixes
You can use the Course Prefixes page to configure course prefixes to group courses by common prefix codes.
Course prefixes can be considered subject areas, course families, or another organizational method by which your institution wants to identify sets of courses. More than one course prefix can be associated with a course. You can then use course prefixes to help create Pools for use in elective pool creationSubstitution pool creationRequirement rule conditions.
The course prefixes you specify here can be selected when you configure the course on the Courses page. (Select the Configuration tile > expand Academic Records > select Courses.)
Prerequisites
To view the page, you must have Academics - Configuration - View authorization.
To edit the page, you must have Academics - Configuration - Manage authorization.
To edit an item associated with more than one campus, you must have access to all the campuses. For example, if the item is configured to be available at three campuses and you only have access to two of the campuses, you can view the item but cannot edit it. When you add an item, you can only select campuses to which you have access.
Access Method
Select the Configuration tile > locate Academic Records > select Course Prefixes.
