Configure Hyland's Perceptive Content for Integration

You can use the information on this page to configure the settings in Hyland®'s Perceptive Content for the integration between Anthology Student and Hyland®'s Perceptive Content.

Prerequisites

You must be authorized in Hyland's Perceptive Content to perform these actions:

  • Create a drawer

  • Create document types

  • Setup an application plan

  • Create an application plan

  • Set up users

Create a Drawer for Each Module in Anthology Student

There must be a drawer in Perceptive Content for each module (for example, Admissions, Contact Manager, Academics).

Create Document Types

Document types in Perceptive Content must have the same name as the document corresponding to the document configured in Anthology Student.

For example, if you configure a document in Anthology Student with the name "Housing Application", you must have a document type configured in Perceptive Content with the name "Housing Application".

Create an Application Plan

In Perceptive Content, you must create and define an application plan to be used for the Anthology Student integration.

These following values must be defined and mapped in the dictionary.

  • StudentID

  • StudentName

  • StudentNumber

  • CmcDocumentType

  • CmcModule

You must set up the mappings. The table shows an example of mapping of values in the dictionary.

Area Property Source Value
Drawer Drawer Dictionary CMCModule
Document – CMCDocumentType StudentID (Field1) Dictionary StudentID
StudentName (Field2) Dictionary StudentName
StudentNumber(Field3) Dictionary StudentNumber
Document Type Dictionary CmcDocumentType

Set Up an Application Plan

In Perceptive Content, you should also verify your capture profile. For example, ensure that the following values are set to any items that your institution configured for Anthology Student.

  • Source profile

  • Application plan

  • Workflow process

  • Workflow queue

Set Up Users

Staff members who will be using Anthology Student to upload or display documents in Perceptive Content must have valid log in credentials to the Perceptive Experience interface.

Add Anthology Integration iScript to Workflow Queue

To support the integration, customers must create or identify a workflow queue in Perceptive Content. This will trigger the update of document status and link to the Perceptive Content document with the students document tracking record in Anthology Student.

The iScript provided by Perceptive Content and steps to add the script to a workflow queue can be found in their supporting documentation. This is required for the users to display documents from Anthology Student.

Please contact your Hyland's representative to request the Anthology Integration iScript. Ensure to run the Script to Integrate Perceptive Content with Anthology Student.
