Print Disclosure Statements and Promissory Notes

You can use the Awards tab to print the disclosure statement and promissory note for Direct loans, Perkins loans, and student payment plans.

Prerequisites

You must have:

  • Common - Student - View authorization

  • Financial Aid - Student Award - Print authorization

    — OR — For student payment plans, Student Accounts – Payment Schedule - Print authorization

  • For Direct loans, Reports - Financial Aid - sub_DLDisclosure_Statement authorization

  • For Direct PLUS loans, Reports - Financial Aid - sub_PLUSDisclosure_Statement authorization

  • For Perkins loans, you must have Reports - Financial Aid - sub_cst_Financial Aid_PerkinsLoanDisclosure_Statement authorization

If your institution has configured permissions for fund sources, you must also be in a staff group that has permission to edit the fund source. See Fund Source Security.

To print the documents, you must have completed and saved all the information for the loan or payment plan.

Access Method

Select the Students tile > select the name in the Students list > expand Financial Aid > select the Awarding tile > Awards tab.

Procedure to Print a Disclosure Statement

  1. Verify that the program version is correct. If not, select the specific program version in the Program Version drop-down list.

  2. Select the record for the loan in the list.

  3. Select the Prom Note Info tab.

  4. Select the Print Disclosure button on the toolbar. Anthology Student displays a dialog that you can use to review and print the document.

  5. You can either: 

    • Select the Print button (Print icon) on the toolbar of the dialog. The remaining dialogs you use to complete the print will depend on your browser.

    • Use the Export button (Export report icon) on the toolbar to export the document so that you can print the exported format.

    When you close the last dialog, Anthology Student displays a dialog confirming that it printed correctly.

  6. If the statement: 

    • Printed correctly, select OK in the dialog. Anthology Student updates the Disclosure Printed Date field on the tab with the current date.

    • Did not print correctly, select Cancel in the dialog. Anthology Student redisplays the tab so that you reprint.

Procedure to Print a Promissory Note

  1. Verify that the program version is correct. If not, select the specific program version in the Program Version drop-down list.

  2. Select the record for the loan, student payments, or other cash awards in the list.

  3. For loans, select the Prom Note Info tab.

    If the Prom Note Status is "Ready to print", the Promissory Print button is enabled.

  4. For loans, select the Promissory Print button on the toolbar. Anthology Student displays a dialog that you can use to review and print the document.

  5. Select the Print button.

    The remaining dialogs you use to complete the print job will depend on your browser.

  6. For payment plans, If the "Print Promissory Note" option is enabled for the campus under Configuration > Financial Aid > Fund Sources > Rules and Attributes, the Promissory Note button is displayed in the toolbar of the fund source section.

    Select the Promissory Note button. Anthology Student displays a dialog that you can use to print the document.

  7. You can either: 

    • Select the Print button (Print icon) on the toolbar of the dialog. The remaining dialogs you use to complete the print job will depend on your browser.

    • Use the Export button (Export report icon) on the toolbar to export the document so that you can print the exported format.
