Remove a Student from a Waitlist

You can remove the student from a waitlist or a reservation for the selected class. This button is enabled if the student is on a wait list or has a reservation for the selected class section.

Prerequisites

You must have:

  • Common - Student - View authorization

  • Academics - Student Course - Edit authorization

Your institution must have configured a waitlist for the class section and the student must be waitlisted. In addition, the Course Status for the course must be set to Future (Waitlisted) or Future (Reserved).

Access Method

Select the Students tile > select the name in the Students list > expand Academic Records > select the Student Courses tile.

Procedure to Remove the Student from a Waitlist

  1. Select a record in the list, and select More > Remove Waitlist/Res..

  2. Select the Remove button to confirm and then select the Notify button if you want to notify the students that they have been removed from the waitlist. The Course status is reset to Future.
