Pell Analysis

You can use the Pell Analysis report to analyze student records with an ISIR matched using different modes of operation regarding Pell Grants. The Mode options include:

  • Pell eligible but no Pell awarded – Select this option to analyze students who are Pell eligible and have not been awarded Pell.

  • COA limited Pell awards – Select this option to analyze Pell awards that were limited based on the Cost of Attendance (COA) value.

Prerequisites

You must have: 

  • Common - Reports - View authorization

  • Either Reports - Financial Aid - Pell Analysis or Financial Aid - All Reports authorization (All Reports provides authorization to view all reports for Financial Aid.) 

Access Method

Select the Reports tile > expand Financial Aid > select Pell Analysis.

Procedure to Generate the Report

  1. Specify the data selection criteria.

    Academic Year Start DateClosed Start date of the academic year or payment period. From and To

    Award YearClosed The financial aid award year.  ClosedSee Note.

    Campus GroupsClosed Specifies the campus group for which the report is generated.

    CampusesClosed The campus or campuses to which a person or item is assigned. It is filtered to display the campuses to which you have access. In some cases, it is also used to filter a list to only those items for the campus. In some lists, you can select more than one campus or select All. In lists that display columns, if the column contains more than one campus, you cannot sort or filter on that column.

    Load Saved CriteriaClosed Select the saved criteria you want to load in the selection criteria fields.

    Program VersionsClosed The program version associated with the student or item.

    ProgramsClosed The programs that the student is interested in. If you are selecting the values, you can select more than one program.

    Student GroupsClosed The name of the student group. If you are selecting a group and your institution has configured Anthology Student to limit groups to campuses, you can only select groups for the campus that you are assigned to. If you are selecting a group, it can also be filtered to display groups where you are the owner, public groups, and private groups to which you have been given access.

  2. Select Create as PDF or Create as Excel to download the report results.

Details for the Report

In the report:

  • Records are sorted by campus and enrollment

  • Columns include Student Name, Student ID, Start Date, ISIR ID Being paid on, and Pell Amount

  • Record counts and total Pell amounts are listed for each campus
