Release to General Ledger

You can use the Release to General Ledger page to create and queue a batch that contains the transactions you want to release to your general ledger system. Once Anthology Student gathers the transactions, you can review the open batch and then release the transactions to the general ledger system or export the data to a file. You can also rebuild a previously released batch or recreate the export file. The same transactions are used with the same date and batch number.

You can then use the page to review all the batches that have been processed.

The batches are processed in the background so that you can continue to work in Anthology Student while the batches are being processed.

Prerequisites

You must have:

  • Common - Processes - View authorization

  • Student Accounts – Processes – Release to General Ledger authorization

Access Method

Select the Processes tile > expand Student Accounts > select Release to General Ledger.
