LMS Extract Statuses

You can use the LMS Extract Statuses page to view and update the LMS extract status for one or more records and resubmit them to the LMS. You can change the extract status of a single record or a batch of multiple records.

Prerequisites

You must have:

  • Common - Processes - View authorization

  • Academics - Processes - LMS Extract Statuses authorization

To update the LMS extract status, you must also have Academics - Student Course Status Change Lms Export - Edit authorization.

Your institution must have:

  • Configured Delivery Method and Term for LMS Data Exchange

  • Enabled Export to Third Party LMS 

  • Set Section Delivery Method to the configured delivery method

Access Method

Select the Processes tile > expand Academic Records > select LMS Extract Statuses.

Procedure to Update LMS Extract Status

  1. Specify the following values.

    CampusesClosed The campus or campuses to which a person or item is assigned. It is filtered to display the campuses to which you have access. In some cases, it is also used to filter a list to only those items for the campus. In some lists, you can select more than one campus or select All. In lists that display columns, if the column contains more than one campus, you cannot sort or filter on that column.

    Extract DateClosed Enables you to filter records based on the extracted data range.

    Extract StatusesClosed Enables you to filter on Ready, Transmitted, Processed and Rejected extract statuses.

    SectionsClosed Enables you to filter the class sections that are associated with the selected terms.

    TermsClosed Enables you to filter the terms that are associated with the selected campuses.

  2. Select Apply Filters.

  3. Take the appropriate action.

    • To update LMS Extract Status for selected records:

      1. Select one or more records.

      2. Select Extract StatusClosed The extract status of the record. The available values are: - Ready - Transmitted - Processed - Rejected and update the value.

      3. Select Save.

    • To update LMS Extract Status for a batch:

      1. Select the Update All Statuses button.

      2. Select an Extract StatusClosed The extract status of the record. The available values are: - Ready - Transmitted - Processed - Rejected.

      3. Select OK.

      4. Select Save.
