Associate Instructors to Courses
Using the Associate Instructors To Courses page, you can establish and maintain instructor or course relationships. This ensures that courses are scheduled with the proper instructors or owners.
Your institution can associate instructors with a specific course, for example, John Doe with Math 101, course code prefixes, for example, ENG, or courses based on course level, for example, undergraduate. You can also designate a staff member in a campus as a course owner, even if the staff member is not an instructor.
The association feature includes the following characteristics:
- Courses can be associated with one or more instructors
- Courses can have only one instructor defined as the owner
- Instructor or course associations can be deleted or made inactive
- Instructors associated with the course will be displayed when you schedule a class
- Courses that are not associated with an instructor will always have all instructors displayed
