Create a Batch to Import Test Scores

You can use the Import Test Score page to create and queue a batch to import test file. Anthology Student tries to match test scores in the file to students and add the test scores during the process.

Anthology Student can also create Student Profiles for students that do not match the Anthology Student database. For this, your institution must have configured the required prerequisites.

Prerequisites

You must have:

  • Common - Processes - View authorization

  • Admissions - Processes - Import Test Scores - Queue authorization

Your institution must have configured:

  • Layout for the type of test score file you are importing (Select the Configuration tile > locate Admissions > select Test File Layouts > select the New button and specify the general information or select an existing test file layout in the list > select Layout Type tab.)

  • Test File Matching Criteria settings (Select the Settings tile > locate Admissions > select Test File Matching Criteria.)

For Anthology Student to automatically create a Student Profile and add the scores to the Test list:

  • Your institution must have selected Yes for Tests - Create Prospect from TestClosed If you select Yes, the Import Test Scores process creates new prospects for unmatched records. If you select No (default), the unmatched records will be left unmatched. in General page (Select the Settings tile > expand System > select General.).

  • You must have Common - Student - New authorization.

  • If Anthology Student is integrated with CampusNexus CRM, your institution must have selected to allow a new student entry from Anthology Student.

Your institution must have configured the following default values for the campus group in order to create the Student Profile.

  • Campus

  • Prospect source

  • Prospect type

  • Admissions representative

For example, if the prospect source is not configured for the campus, Anthology Student does not create the Student Profile.

Access Method

Select the Processes tile > locate Admissions > select Import Test Scores .

Procedure to Create and Queue the Batch

  1. Select the Process tab.

  2. Specify the values under Selection Criteria to filter the list.

    Layout TypeClosed Specifies the type of test file to import. File To ImportClosed Select the test file from the drive location.

  3. Select the Queue Import button.

  4. On the Queue Batch dialog, review or change the name of the batch and select the Queue button.

Anthology Student processes the batch and

  • Matches test scores to students

  • Adds the matched test scores to the Tests list for a student displayed when you select All Program Versions for their program version in the header of the Student Profile. (Select the Students tile > select the name in the Students list > expand Admissions > select the Test Scores tile.)

Anthology Student creates test scores on the Student Profile that match the configured test file matching criteria.

 When the batch completes, Anthology Student displays the results on the History tab so that you can review the results and verify that the test scores were imported.
