Credit Card Payment Gateway Providers

You can use the Credit Card Payment Gateway Providers tab on the Electronic Processors page to configure URLs for all supported payment gateway providers. You can add or edit:

  • Test URLsClosed Testing option indicates that you are sending dummy data using a test account. When in Test mode: • Adding a credit card or making a direct credit card payment, you will be redirected to a test hosted page to add a credit card or to make a direct credit card payment. • Making a single credit card payment, the appropriate test URL will be used to post the test payments to the provider’s server for processing.

  • Live URLsClosed Live options indicates that you are sending real data. When in Live mode: • Adding a credit card or making a direct credit card payment, you will be redirected to a live hosted page to add a credit card or to make a direct credit card payment. • Making a single credit card payment, the appropriate live URL will be used to post the payments to the provider’s server for processing.

Prerequisites

You must have the following authorizations to perform the tasks:

Add a new credit card processor for a campus Student Accounts - Configuration - Credit Card Processors - New authorization
Edit a credit card processor for a campus Student Accounts - Configuration - Credit Card Processors - Edit authorization
Delete a credit card processor for a campus Student Accounts - Configuration - Credit Card Processors - Delete authorization

You cannot delete credit card processors if they are associated with other campuses.

Access Method

Select the Configuration tile > expand Student Accounts > select Electronic Processors.

Procedure to Configure Credit Card Payment Gateway Providers

  1. Select the Credit Card Payment Gateway Providers tab.

  2. Review, specify, or change the following values. The fields that are displayed will vary based on the options you select for Gateway Provider.

    Gateway ProviderClosed Indicates the name of the credit card payment gateway provider. The options are: • ACI • PayPal • TouchNet

    uPay Site IDClosed Indicate the uPay site ID. This field is displayed when Payment Gateway Provider is set to TouchNet.

  3. To add or edit the test or live URLs for a Credit Card Payment Gateway Provider, use the following fields:

    ACI

    Funding PageClosed Indicates the link to the ACI funding page. The ACI funding page is used to add a student bank account.

    PostClosed Indicates the URL to the post ACH transactions to the ACI server.

    PayPal

    Hosted Checkout PageClosed Indicates the link to PayPal hosted checkout page. This link redirects you to the hosted checkout page for PayPal to add a credit card or make a payment.

    PostClosed Indicates the URL to post credit card transactions to PayPal server.

    TouchNet (T-Link for TouchNet Ready Partners)

    uPay PageClosed Indicates the URL to the TouchNet uPay page. TouchNet gateway provider URLs are not populated initially. You need to populate the URLs for TouchNet manually since the URLs are unique for each client's account.

    T-Link PostClosed Indicates the URL to post ACH transactions to TouchNet server.
