Pay Levels
You can use the Pay Levels page to configure the pay levels. Pay levels categorize payment based on the seniority of the faculty member. All courses have pay levels for compensation plans and there is an assigned payment total for each level. For example, you could define the pay levels:
- I1, I2, and I3
- J1, J2, and J3
Pay levels are required for pay generation.
The pay levels you specify can be selected when you configure the:
-
Compensation plans for staff members ( Select the Configuration tile > locate Faculty Workload > select Compensation Plans.)
-
Payroll information for the position assignments for staff members ( Select the Configuration tile > locate Faculty Workload > select Staff Position Payroll Information.)
Prerequisites
To view the page, you must have Faculty Workload - Configuration - View authorization.
To edit the page, you must have Faculty Workload - Configuration - Manage authorization.
To edit an item associated with more than one campus, you must have access to all the campuses. For example, if the item is configured to be available at three campuses and you only have access to two of the campuses, you can view the item, but cannot edit it. When you add an item, you can only select campuses to which you have access.
Access Method
Select the Configuration tile > locate Faculty Workload > select Pay Levels.
