Deactivate, Delete, or Reactivate Jobs

You can deactivate or reactivate any jobs listed in the Jobs section grid. You can also delete a deactivated job displayed in the grid.

Prerequisites

You must have:

  • Common - Configuration - View authorization

  • Financial Aid Automation – Configuration – Automated Job Management - Run Now authorization

  • Financial Aid Automation – Configuration – Automated Job Management - View authorization

  • Financial Aid Automation – Configuration – Automated Job Management - Job Sequence - New and Save authorization

Access Method

Jobs tab (Select the Configuration tile > expand Financial Aid > select Automated Job Management.)

Procedure to Deactivate or Reactivate Jobs and Delete Deactivated Jobs

Action Procedure Result
Deactivate - You can deactivate any job with Yes listed under ActiveClosed Specifies whether the associated record is active..

1.  Select the specific job and select Deactivate in the toolbar.

2.  Select Deactivate in the pop-up or select Cancel.

The Deactivate option is not displayed in the toolbar until you select your first job in the grid.

The job: 

•   Remains displayed in the list with No in the Active column

Reactivate - You can activate any job with No listed under ActiveClosed Specifies whether the associated record is active..

1.  Select the specific job and select Activate in the toolbar.

2.  Select Activate in the pop-up or select Cancel.

The Activate option is not displayed in the toolbar until you select your first job in the grid.

The job: 

•   Is displayed in the list with Yes in the Active column

Delete - You can delete any job that is deactivated (No listed in the ActiveClosed Specifies whether the associated record is active. column).

1.  Select the specific deactivated job and select Delete in the toolbar.

The Delete option is not displayed in the toolbar until you select your first job in the grid.

The job: 

•   Is deleted from the list
