Configure All General Settings for Career Services
You can use the General page to configure:

The default status to be assigned to a new placement record when it is created

The default status to be assigned to the placement record when a student is placed

Employer codes and staff permissions related to career services
Prerequisites
You must have:

To view the settings, Career Services – Settings – View authorization

To specify or change the settings, Career Services – Settings – Manage authorization
Access Method
Select the Settings tile > expand Career Services > select General.
Procedure to Add or Edit Items

Review, specify, or change the following values.
Default Placement Record Status
Default In School Placement Record Status
Enable Duplicate Employer Check
If In Field of Study is No, Student is Considered Not Placed

In Staff Group, review, specify, or change the following values.
Allow to associate Employer with Campuses outside of the assigned Campus Group

Select Save to save the changes.
