Look Up Phone Numbers on the Do Not Call List

You can use the Lookup tab on the National Do Not Call page to look up a phone number to see whether or not it can be called. Once you have specified the phone number, Anthology Student displays a message indicating whether or not the person can be contacted.

For example, you can look up phone numbers for referrals for new students from existing students to see if those phone numbers can be called.

Prerequisites

You must have:

• Common - Processes - View authorization

• Contact Manager - Processes - National Do Not Call - Lookup authorization

Your institution must have  imported the National Do Not Call Registry phone list and updated the Anthology Student database. See:

• Import the File for the National Do Not Call Registry

• Update the Database for National Do Not Call

You should also be familiar with the Background for National Do Not Call.

Access Method

Select the Processes tile > expand Contact Manager > select National Do Not Call..

Procedure to Look up National DNC Phone Numbers

1. Click the Lookup tab.

2. Specify the Phone Number The phone number of the student, person, or agency..

3. Click the Apply Filters button.

   Anthology Student displays a message indicating whether or not you can call the person.
