Calculation Variable Items

Description

Calculation variable items are individual records in a calculation variable that can be conceptualized as enrollment types or exemption statuses. A variable item contains either an Item amount or Item rate, but not both.

Each calculation variable item must be associated with a calculation variable.

Calculation variable	Calculation variable this item is associated with
Calc variable active date	Active date of the parent calculation variable
Item	Name of the calculation variable item
Item description	Long description of the calculation variable item
Item amount	A default flat amount for the item
Item rate	A default rate value for the item. The rate is multiplied against the worker or position's Rate counter to produce the variable's final value.
Version	Version number for variable items that are managed by the software provider. Items with version numbers cannot be modified.
Country/region	Jurisdictional information for the variable item, if applicable
