Description

This form shows all benefit/deduction groups configured for use in a particular company. Groups help to simplify certain aspects of data maintenance.

Benefit/deductions can also be added to groups in the Benefit deduction group benefit deductions form.

Fields

Field Description
Benefit/deduction group Name of the benefit/deduction code
Short code 5-character identifier. Defaults to the first five characters of the name.
Benefit/deduction group description Long description of the benefit/deduction
Print on statements Yes to allow the benefit/deduction group to appear on pay statements. No, otherwise.
Statement description Description of the benefit/deduction group that appears on pay statements
Statement sequence List order of the group on pay statements. Lower numbers are higher priority. This number is not unique.
Print employer amount Yes to allow the employer contribution to appear on pay statements, for benefit/deductions in the group with both a worker and employer amount. No, otherwise.
Use in Analytics Indicates if the item is to be used in Analytics. It is recommended that this group’s items do not contain duplicates.
Active date First date the record is in effect
Expiry date Last date the record is in effect
