Create a Legal Entity

The first step in setting up Anthology Finance & HCM is to create a legal entity. Typically, the legal entity represents the organization.

When integrated with Anthology Student, the legal entity must be linked to the specific campus for further accounting operations.

To create a legal entity:

1. Navigate to Organization administration > Organization > Legal entities.

2. Select New.

3. Enter a Name.

4. Enter a company identifier in the Company field. The identifier may contain up to four digits.

5. Select a country/region in the Country/region field.

6. Select OK.

7. In the General area, in the Language field, select a language.

8. Select Save and close the page.
